OUR PHILOSOPHY
The practice is founded on three design principles: to craft, to delight and to be purposeful.
Each project's unique identity is crafted by responding to its own context and the occupants' needs.
Pockets of respite and delight are conscientiously embedded into the users' routine.
Every gesture serves a purpose and is reflective of its aspiration.
In due course, we hope our works will inspire its inhabitants.
OUR TEAM
TAN TZE WEI
Tze Wei studied Architecture at the National University of Singapore and McGill University, graduating with the Aedas medal for best final year thesis. She is a registered Architect in Singapore and a member of the Singapore Institute of Architects.
While working with RichardHO Architects and DP Architects, she honed her craft with bespoke residential and hospitality projects which taught her a systematic approach to architecture. This method is further complemented with her natural instinct towards rational space planning and a sensitive touch towards materiality.
With this simple and succinct manifesto, she aims to inspire others through creating delightful and meaningful spaces.
LEE ZHI JIE
Zhi Jie was trained at the National University of Singapore and Budapesti Műszaki ésGazdaságtudományi Egyetem, graduating with Master of Architecture. Whilst in school, he was on the Dean's List and also a recipient of the Aedas medal & prize in architectural design. Currently, he is a registered architect in Singapore and a member of Singapore Institute of Architects.
His passion to practise arises from the desire to realise architecture that is assembled through the exploiting each project’s unique spatial quality. Believing that this can be achieved through rigorous exploration, he is constantly eager to experiment in the attempt to shed new light on the subject.
Outside of practice, he spends his time in design outreach efforts. He has helmed two editions of the Singapore Institute of Architects’ annual Archifest and partakes in ArKIDecture.
